Soumeya Benghanem, Product Management Executive
Soumeya Benghanem is a Product Management executive with 20 years of experience in building software. She is currently a Product Management Practice Leader at Pivotal Labs, a Division of VMware. She has been the Chief Product Officer and Head of Product at startups in Financial Services and Healthcare. Some of the organizations that Soumeya has worked with include The United States Space Force, Merrill Lynch, The Bank of NY Mellon, Paypal.
Nisha Desai, Investor & CEO of Andav Capital
Nisha Desai is Managing Partner of Andav Capital, a New York-based investment and advisory firm for early stage tech-enabled companies.
Prior to her role leading Andav Capital, Ms. Desai was a Director at Deutsche Bank, where she managed a firm-wide restructuring program pursuant to a $19.7M Consent Order, advised senior management and Board members on multi-billion-dollar investments and complex cross-border deal structures, and represented the firm in industry and regulatory discussions. Previously, Ms. Desai served as a Vice President at J.P. Morgan, where she led a global remediation program pursuant to $225M Consent Orders, advised on restructuring the investment bank under Dodd-Frank, and was seconded to the CIO-losses “London Whale” Crisis Management Taskforce, where she also supported CEO Jamie Dimon during his Congressional testimony. Earlier in her career, she worked on financial litigation and white-collar criminal actions at the law firm Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz; in consultative sales and business development at Google Inc.; and as a pre-revenue Founding Team Member (“Employee #4”) at Sweetgreen, a startup now valued at $1.6B. Previously, Ms. Desai served as U.S. Congressional staff for civil rights leader Congressman John Lewis and judicial staff for a Public Defender’s Office and Superior Court in Georgia.
Ms. Desai holds an M.B.A. with Distinction in Finance, Operations, and Entrepreneurship from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. with Honors in International Politics from Georgetown University. She has served on the boards of various companies and nonprofits and currently serves as a non-residential Fellow with the Atlantic Council, a global think tank. She is an active member of the CFA Society of New York and an advisor, judge, and mentor with Techstars, SAP, SAP.io, Microsoft, Google for Startups, Maryland FounderTrac, NY Fashion Tech Lab, and various startups and investment firms.
Rodell has over 10 years of experience in launching and coaching small and mid sized businesses. He has developed valuable skills in business strategy, operations, sales, leadership, and human resources through the businesses he launched as well as through corporate roles held at various firms. Rodell is also the Founder, Board member, and Executive Consultant of Ford Sports Performance, a result driven facility that specializes in sports performance training for professional, college, high school, youth athletes and adults. Ford Sports Performance was founded in 2013 and has provided services to professional athletes from; NFL, NBA, and MLS.
Jeremiah has over 15 years of experience in sales marketing, public relations, and talent management. He has held various leadership roles in his entrepreneurial projects, his mandates as consultant or keynote speaker as well as various corporate roles. In addition, he has played a leading role in the firm’s recruiting and training efforts.
As a Co-Founder of X-Factor Consulting Group, Jeremiah has played a key role in motivating employees in large organizations and educating employers to help close the gap between corporate leaders and their diversity and inclusion efforts. During his time with X-Factor he has also heads up the companies sponsorship initiatives where he has paired corporate sponsors with targeted events to showcase their brand.
A career entrepreneur, Jeremiah has been a highly sought out consultant for his recruiting ability of top tier talent across the country specifically his influence in the black community. As a head hunter for top talent and a strategic consultant, Jeremiah has placed dozens of organizations with their ideal candidate.
Brandon Andrews, Entrepreneur / Global Builder / Speaker + Host
Brandon Andrews is co-founder of Gauge; an AI-driven mobile market research platform connecting brands to consumers and influencers to identify opportunities and avoid mistakes. As Senior Consultant at Values Partnerships he leads the company & work on technology and entrepreneurship, including leading a nationwide casting tour focused on bringing more diverse ideas and voices to ABC’s, Shark Tank and building inclusive ecosystems. Named a Global Innovation Fellow by the U.S. Department of State, he has traveled the world speaking and hosting events on entrepreneurship and innovation.
Committed to bringing resources to diverse entrepreneurs, he started The Investment event series to educate entrepreneurs and investors of color. In addition to working with entrepreneurs Brandon has helped lead nationwide engagement campaigns including If Beale Street Could Talk (2018), Fences (2016), ROOTS (2016), and Concussion (2015). In 2018, he managed the #TechtoWealth Tour with DJ Young Guru. Designed to get 10K people of color coding, #TechtoWealth brought tech events to WeWork locations in the final six OTRII Tour cities + BET Hip Hop Awards with $1M in coding scholarships available from Opportunity Hub and Flatiron School.
