Entre is hosting a special event geared towards the growing community of New York entrepreneurs, artists, creators, and innovators. Join us as we build a community of startup enthusiasts in the NYC area. This event is taking place at Microsoft, Conference Center in Times Square.
Our event brings people together to openly discuss and share ideas with like-minded individuals. We welcome entrepreneurs of all types, start-ups of all sizes, industries, and stages to join us in finding the inspiration, resources, and friends that will make them successful.

Wednesday Mar 4, 2020 – Laura Chau, Principal of Canaan Partners
Laura Chau joined Canaan in 2014 and is an Principal on the Technology team. Laura thinks about startups not just as businesses, but as carefully crafted works of art and focuses on the firm’s consumer technology investments. Her current investments include Coterie, Jumpcut, and an unannounced company. She also co-hosts Canaan’s Women Who Venture podcast, a show that spotlights remarkable women in business, technology and science. She previously worked in Deloitte’s strategy and operations practice, where she advised tech, healthcare, financial services and energy clients on growth strategy and post-merger integrations.
Laura was one of the first employees at Kabam, one of Canaan’s portfolio companies that was acquired by Netmarble in 2017. She has also worked at Branch Metrics and Greenhouse in sales and marketing functions, in addition to working closely with Marie Kondo, the author of The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up, to help launch her venture-backed product business.
