Alex is a restaurant industry innovator, in-demand speaker, and passionate advocate for restaurant operators and workers. He was raised in the kitchen of the world-famous Canter’s Deli in Los Angeles, where he and his team invented Ordermark. A fourth-generation restaurateur, the restaurant business has been in Alex’s blood for over 85 years. In addition to being the visionary and leader of Ordermark, Alex is active with the Techstars network and enjoys mentoring other restaurant technology entrepreneurs. A 2019 recipient of the Forbes 30 Under 30, Alex has previously led several technology ventures.
Growing up in the business at his father’s restaurant in Rockaway Beach, Terence learned the hands-on knowledge needed to be successful in the business; Most importantly, community participation and government activism. In 2002, while attending College of Mount Saint Vincent in the Bronx, Terence and his brother Dan, opened Metro 53. With the success of their first endeavor, IGC Hospitality has gone on to launch 12 more concepts over the last 18 years; including Park Avenue Tavern, Refinery Rooftop, Parker & Quinn, Trademark Taste + Grind, and Bungalow Bar to name a few.
Following the success of IGC’s business ventures with Executive Hotels and Resorts, Highgate Hotels, and Melia Hotels, Terence’s most recent accomplishments include: The new development of The Rockaway Hotel in Rockaway Beach.
Staying true to his family’s Broad Channel roots, Terence is passionate about donating his time and resources to the greater NYC community, and is committed to sustaining the culturally rich history of the New York City hospitality industry.
William (Will) is the co-founder of Kath Advisory Group and founder of Winter Accounting & Advising, LLC. He has over 15 years of experience providing accounting, tax, advisory, and consulting services to an array of individual and business clients throughout the United States and internationally. Will earned his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from SUNY Old Westbury in Long Island, NY and his Master of Accountancy Degree from The George Washington University in Washington, DC.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). Additionally, he serves as Chair of the Western PA Tax Conference Committee, is a member of the Executive Committee of the PICPA Pittsburgh Chapter, and speaks at various tax seminars held in the Greater Pittsburgh region.
